Marketing Interface is now a team of two! Our new hire, Nicole Keith, has joined the team as Marketing Coordinator. Nicole has a background in luxury retailing and event styling. She graduated from Baylor University and recently moved back home to Houston after an 8-year stint in DFW. She sat down and answered some important questions about marketing, technology, and coffee.

Marketing Coordinator Nicole Keith

Welcome to the team! What do you do as Marketing Coordinator at Marketing Interface?

As a Marketing Coordinator, I curate and schedule social media posts for Marketing Interface and our clients. You will also find me at client meetings, writing blogs, helping with CRM implementations, and attending networking events around Houston.

What excites you about marketing technology (martech)?

Martech is exciting to me because it is always changing, just when you think you are ahead of the curve something else comes onto the scene. We are so over exposed to marketing initiatives and I love that marketing technology gives you the tools and data to find the most effective way to engage in the conversations most relevant to your business

Marketing Interface believes in “taking the fluff out of marketing.” What does that mean to you?

To me, it means working with data. It means focusing on the meaty part of marketing: the part you can evaluate, measure, and tweak to really foster growth for your business. We are so inundated with fluff that many companies in more “buttoned-up” sectors don’t realize how powerful a strong marketing stack can be for their business.

What are the 3 apps on your phone you couldn’t live without?

  1. Trello – This is by far my favorite app ever! It is synced with my email, making to-do lists so easy. Between working and my kids, to-do lists are a way of life.
  2. Spotify – Doesn’t matter if I am glued to my Mac, in the car, or at home. Spotify is always running, playing everything from Blues to Disney theme songs.
  3. Buffer – Buffer is opened everyday, multiple times a day, on all my devices. I manage multiple work-related social media accounts as well as my personal social media accounts here. Buffer helps ensure we have a consistent flow of content shared everyday.

How do you take your coffee?

Strong and early in the morning! A macchiato is my go-to, easy-to-drink beverage of choice. It’s quick when I’m in a hurry and effective at keeping my eyes open.

When you aren’t glued to your Mac, where can we find you?

In Suburbia chasing my identical twin girls around on our porch, lemonade in hand, usually with my boxer pup following close behind.
